Thank you to our Community Partners! Northwest Dance Project and Chinese Garden!

Urban Excursions celebrates something besides the rain! We enjoyed one of the most unique and special senior outings this last week and want to give a special shout out to Sarah and Scott with the NW Dance Project! They invited us into their gorgeous studio to meet with the dancers, choreographer and watch a 40 minute performance of their upcoming show, CARMEN! It takes special people like them in the community to really make Urban Excursions and our senior activities a success!

And, let’s not forget our another wonderful community partner, the Lan Su Chinese Garden! They arranged a special tour for our senior group activity with Charlene who showed us the magic that truly exists in this little oasis. We found some peace and tranquility followed by some lovely tea and cookies in the Tea House. Thank you to the Portland community for welcoming Urban Excursions with open arms!
