Emerson House Joins Urban Excursions!

Urban Excursions would like to welcome Emerson House to our Adventurous Urban Excursions family. Emerson House is an amazing memory care facility with one of the most caring and innovative staff located in the heart of SE Portland on Division Street. They recently heard of Urban Excursions social outings for seniors and called us up to see if we could take groups out and about that lived in their facility. We took our Maiden Voyage to Sauvie Island and Kruger Farm for a picnic a few weeks ago and have completed two outings so far! They were such a considerate group and had nothing but great things to say about the outing and about being able to get some fresh air and see something new. We are so happy to be working with the amazing the amazing residents at Emerson House and look forward to doing outings every week! Welcome aboard Emerson! We also want to welcome our volunteer Hannah to our crew. . .Hannah will be starting nursing school in the fall and absolutely loves older adults, she was a natural and will make an awesome nurse. .welcome Hannah!
