Up, up and away. . Evergreen Aviation Museum, Kennedy School and Bratwurst Fest!

Urban Excursions is plowing through the last few months of winter and enjoying every single bit of it! Our senior outings  took us all over this week. The first of our senior activities this week, had us enjoying a lovely lunch at McMenamins Kennedy School . Our guests toured the historic elementary school, viewed the art, vintage photos and read about the neighborhood history!

And finally, we can’t say thank you enough for the wonderful retired armed forces volunteers at the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinville, Oregon. They were so knowledgeable, sweet and went above and beyond to cater to our senior outing group.  We were able to view the formidable Spruce Goose (click on Spruce Goose to view it’s one and only flight!) and other amazing vintage airplanes, such a treat for our group from that era!
